Farewell Antigua...

So the day to leave has arrived. I was kept awake by the wind howling and the rain pelting down, I honestly thought it was a hurricane to finish us off!
We had our final baby group this morning, I have some photos which I will upload when we get organised in England, I feel really sad to be leaving everyone, but we'll back for a holiday before we know where we are!
Toby is very well but is very aware that all is not the same as usual, so he's playing up a tad, despite our best efforts to finish those last few packing jobs, he pulls out everything just as fast as we can get it in the case, so one step forward and one back.
I shall be getting in touch with everyone in England to arrange some girly nights out, and some all important shopping trips, I have nothing organised for Christmas so no doubt the usual last minute rush.
All about me when it should be all about Toby, but there you are!! See you in England.

Late again!

Things have been a bit hectic lately, thankfully with Toby's Grandparents here I have been able to get some packing done, it's amazing how much stuff we have accumulated in just over 2 years, I have given loads of Toby's old clothes away and his cot is being collected later today, fingers crossed that we don't need it when we get back here as we hope he will be in a big bed by then.
We had wanted to host a bit of a goodbye bash, but as our deck is not finished we couldn't take the risk that one of the kids, or perhaps an inebriated grown up might fall in the marina, so we will have to have a welcome back do instead.
Toby has been a bit poorly over the past week, nothing major just a cold really but with a nasty cough, a bit like his Dad then!
Now the move back to England is so close I feel really sad to be leaving, we have made some nice friends here and Toby is used to seeing his childminder Nicola and the terrible tears don't happen anymore so I get 2 free mornings to myself. We shall also miss our swimming lessons, Zoe the instructor here is helping me find an instructor close to where we will be living so Toby will be at the same level as the others when we get back.
