Happy New Year
I made a big effort to get this in before the clock strikes 12! Wouldn't want to be uploading Christmas in April again!
Toby has been very busy in the past few months, he's had lots of fancy dress days at pre-school, we've had some train rides and days out. Pictures of which will follow.
Toby was in his first nativity play, he played a sheep! at least we think that's what he was! He looked terrified when he walked onto the stage, as did most of the kids, except Mary who was obviously born to be an actress. I must admit my eyes welled up when I saw him, he was scanning the crowd for us and visibly relaxed when I held up Winnie the Pooh. He did very well singing all the carols, they all had actions which we had practised at home, I do have a dvd but I expect it's against all sorts of laws to publish it here. Little town of 'Beflehem' will always remind me of that day.
Just a few days before Christmas we went to Didcot with Sue and Michael for a day out with Thomas the Tank and a visit with Santa, it was good fun and Toby really enjoyed it so I hope we'll go again.
Christmas day was spent with Martin, Mette, Thea, Indy, Oscar and 'my baby cousin' Willow, along with Nanny and Grandad so it was busy, loud and great fun, Toby had lots of presents including more train track, trains, fire engines, a camera, remote control car, and lots more, spoilt boy, but he thoroughly enjoyed sharing everything with his cousins and we had a tantrum free day which was a bonus.
Happy New Year everyone, be safe and happy
