So much for once a month!
I'm sure it's only my mum that reads this anyway, but sorry for not filling in the gap before now.
So in the last few months, we have had a months holiday in Antigua, for a change! we have however taken the decision to rent out our place there, mainly due to Toby starting school and therefore being tied to school holidays from now on to visit, I am pleased that perhaps we can visit other places for a change, Toby thinks that planes only fly there and nowhere else. So we packed up our personal belongings there, came back to England and promptly packed up and moved house here too, lots of upheaval, but we are feeling quite settled now, fingers crossed we can stay here for a while and not have to pack again.
Toby started in the Reception class at Infant school, so far so good, he has just been doing mornings to start but after half term he will be staying for the full day, I think he's quite looking forward to it, but probably not half as much as I am! I won't know what to do with myself. His reading and writing, or mark making as they call it at this age, are coming on really quickly now, I have been into school myself to learn how to help him, his recognition of letters is really quite good, I know some children are already reading at this age, but that is the exception rather than the rule and as all mothers are I am very proud of my little lad.
