Half Term already??
How did that happen? This week also marks the half way point of Toby's first year at school, he is such a big boy now, not physically of course (he's a bit of a skinny minnie) but he's relishing learning to read and count it's very rewarding to see the excitement on his face when he get's his letter right, and very funny to witness the actions that he is learning - jolly phonics followers will understand no doubt!
We have a few activities booked for next week, we will be trampolining on Monday, he may even follow in the footsteps of his Cox cousins and bounce for a county team. Then we are off to the golf course for golf lessons, I was amazed that they offer this for such young kids, but I guess I might be harbouring the next Tiger (hopefully just his golfing exploits!) He just wants to be like Grandad! Then there's swimming and bowling and various other bits and bobs, I shall no doubt be pleased when the week is over and I can get back to normal life, I dread to think what we'll have to arrange when the Summer holidays are here, he'll be bouncing off the walls within a couple of days.
Mind you I can't really complain, Kevin and I are taking next weekend to ourselves and heading to Edinburgh for a couple of days, I can't wait! Even if I have to go to a Strawbs concert it'll be fab... I bought the tickets for Christmas
